A spooky ghostie ghoul makeup look Posted: 27 Oct 2012 11:59 AM PDT BOO!! This Halloween I’m dressing as a spooky, Victorian-era ghost… complete with bustle dress, boots, and curled (but messy) hair. And today I figured was a fantastic day for a makeup dress rehearsal! And now… the quick n’ spooky tutorial~
For the Cheeks ~
For the Lips ~
For Halloween night, I’ll be adding some more white underneath everything – gotta have uber-pale skin, right? And I also plan to carry the white makeup and shading down my neck, chest, and all the exposed areas on my arms and hands. What are you dressing as for Halloween? And feel free to share any costume makeup tips in the comments below! Happy Halloween ghouls, From the archives:Copyright © 2007-2011 by Bionic Beauty™. Vampire-inspired Halloween Mani Posted: 27 Oct 2012 09:46 AM PDT Yet another Halloween themed nail polish creation by yours truly… I created this manicure using all Gelish SOG (Soak Off Gel) polishes, but you could create the same look with regular polishes from your own stash. I used Electric Metal Lover – a magnetic red – for the main color. Two coats and the final coat I “activated” the magnetic properties using one of my China Glaze nail magnets. The drips were freehand painted using Black Shadow – a black creme. I think this style polish would also look awesome with a clear base over the entire nail, then apply the “drips” in a deep, blood red. Happy Halloween y’all! Posted: 21 Oct 2012 06:41 PM PDT In honor of Halloween being just a few days away, I polished up my fingers with some spiders and webs accents. All the polish is soak-off, UV-cured gel polish by Gelish. The polish base color is a blurple (blue-purple) achieved by mixing Caution (a shimmery navy) and Sheek White (creamy white). The spiderwebs were painted on with a toothpick using Sheek White. The spiders were also done with a toothpick in Black Shadow. Have you created a Halloween inspired mani or pedi? I’d love to see photos if you have! From the archives:Copyright © 2007-2011 by Bionic Beauty™. Please do not copy or republish without permission.
